Born in East Oakland, California and raised in Saint Louis, Missouri,  I am no stranger to art. Being surrounded by music, dance, and poetry my entire life, I looked to try something new.

My name is K. Alex Lane, artisically known as TreHitz. I began my passion for photography in 2010 and developed a love for cinematography in 2012. I attended Jackson State University for two years and then transferred to The University of Alabama where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and Information Sciences and a minor in African American Studies.

Recently, I had the honor of being published on vsco.com, where millions of visual artists had the opportunity to view my work.

I began my post graduate life in Kansas City, Missouri, where I began my career as an educator and mentor while working for City Year Kansas City

I have now relocated to Houston, Texas, where I will continue my teaching career and begin pursuing my Master of Arts in History at the illustrious Texas Southern University.
